Based in Hertfordshire, Crystal Direct was founded by company chairman, Martin Randall, in 1990.

The business has grown – and grown! Crystal is now one of the UK’s leading manufacturers of conservatories, windows and doors. Annual turnover currently stands at £8.3 million – projected to rise to £12.45 million over the next 18 months.

Crystal’s success is based upon our commitment to choice. We supply both reverse butt-welded and mechanically jointed profiles, internal and external glazing, glass and polycarbonate roofs plus numerous other options many of which are not offered by other manufacturers.

Crystal’s customers are predominantly installers but we also supply many fabricators. The company currently employs more than 100 people producing on average 1,000 frames and 1,800 glazed units each week. A move to even larger premises will enable us to continue to increase capacity and continue to grow. We’re looking to the future – and we like what we see!
