The latest member of the Crystal team: David Morgan
Crystal Direct welcomes David Morgan to its team of Area Sales Managers. David has worked in the window industry for 35 years and will be seeking out new business opportunities and looking after existing customers in Essex and the Home Counties.
Dave says: “I am excited about working for Crystal Direct and look forward to helping such a dynamic company grow.”
Chairman Martin Randall says: “I’m delighted to welcome David to the Crystal team. He has a huge amount of industry knowledge. We’re looking to add to our sales teams in the near future as we continue to grow and look forward to announcing new members of the team shortly.”
Crystal Direct has invested £60,000 expanding its delivery fleet. The two new 7.5 tonne vehicles will increase the number of deliveries it can make to customers each week.
As well as the new vehicles, Crystal is giving its delivery fleet a new look. The vehicles will emphasise its number one position in offering the widest choice of product and the widest choice of colour.
With Crystal, customers can be assured of an accurate delivery time as its lorries are fitted with a Satellite Tracking System. Customers are advised of a delivery time the day before a delivery is sent. If for any reason it’s going to be late Crystal lets the customer know in good time and when it can be expected.
Chairman Martin Randall comments: “It’s important our customers can rely on us to get the products they need, when they need them. Crystal prides itself on high levels of customer service and investing in our fleet of vehicles means we can make even more on time and in full deliveries and keep up with our growth. The new eye catching livery reinforces the message that Crystal is number one for colour and choice.”
Crystal Direct’s sales increased 27% in the last two weeks of October, compared to the same period in 2009.
The latest impressive figures reflect Crystal's committment to adding new products to its range to create new sales opportunities for its customers. Recently Crystal added an ‘A’ rated vertical slider, a new PVC-U bi-fold door and a sustainable 100% recycled PVC-U profile.
Chairman Martin Randall comments: “We’ve seen our sales grow through a mix of new business and growth of our existing customers. The Crystal team has put a lot of effort into all aspects of our service so we can help our customers sell more by offering a real choice of products backed by real customer support. And we’re encouraging our customers to go out and win sales in a competitive market by giving them new products to sell. It’s a strategy that’s delivering real results for our customers and for Crystal.”
